کے بارے میں

Shaded by modest trees beside Mosquée Talha Ben Ubaydillah مسجد طلحة بن عبيد الله, the place welcomes believers throughout the year.. The modern city of Ain Temouchent lies on the western Algerian coast, about seventy kilometres from Oran, in a landscape of rolling vineyards, olive groves, and the gentle Tell Atlas foothills that look out toward the Mediterranean. The name itself comes from a Berber expression meaning spring of the jackal, remembering a pool of fresh water that once served travellers on the coastal road. Talha ibn Ubaydullah was one of the ten Companions to whom the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) gave the glad tidings of paradise during their lifetimes. He is remembered for his generosity in spending his wealth on the Muslim community, for his loyalty at the Battle of Uhud where he shielded the Prophet with his own body, and for his humility. Naming a North African mosque after him ties the villages of Ain Temouchent to the companions who laid the earliest foundations of Muslim life. Algerian mosque architecture shows strong Andalusian and Ottoman influences. A square minaret faced in white plaster, horseshoe arches framing the mihrab, carved cedar panels donated by families from the Nedroma and Tlemcen craft traditions, and cool tiled courtyards shaded by orange trees shape the character of this mosque. Inside, worshippers pray on red and green carpets donated by local benefactors, and a simple wooden minbar stands beside the mihrab awaiting the Friday khutbah. Accurate prayer times for Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha at Mosquee Talha Ben Ubaydillah in Ain Temouchent, together with the address, a map, and visitor notes, are presented on this page for residents of the wilaya, Algerian travellers along the coast, and Mediterranean tourists venturing inland from the beaches. Ain Temouchent is known for its vineyards, the thermal springs at Hammam Bouhdjar, and the Roman ruins at Siga, once capital of the Numidian king Syphax. After Jumu'ah, worshippers gather outside to drink glasses of mint tea and enjoy small sweet almond pastries prepared by families of the neighbourhood with patient generosity.
