کے بارے میں

Within the leafy Kuwaiti suburb of al Rabiyah, Masjid Taybah Abd al Wahhab Abd al Aziz al Uthman belongs to that beloved family of Gulf mosques built through the generous endowment of local merchants for the sake of God and the comfort of their neighbours. Kuwait has long encouraged the tradition of waqf, the pious endowment, and the Uthman family, long established traders in the city, dedicated this masjid in the memory of beloved relatives. The name Taybah echoes one of the honoured names of Madinah, the city of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, and through that gentle reference the mosque carries the fragrance of prophetic Madinah into every prayer offered between its walls.
Al Rabiyah itself is a suburb of low villas, wide boulevards, and family cooperative markets, built during the rapid expansion of Kuwait City in the final decades of the twentieth century after the oil boom reshaped the country's economy. Kuwaiti Islamic tradition reaches back much further, to the small pearling port that gave birth to the modern state, and across the generations its scholars, merchants, and rulers fostered a quiet, serious religious culture that valued Qur'an memorisation, the study of hadith, and charitable giving toward the poor, the orphan, and the traveller.
The mosque itself follows modern Kuwaiti design. A clean white facade lifts into a single tapered minaret, clear glass windows pour natural light across the carpeted prayer hall, and an elegant mihrab carries restrained calligraphy in gilded lettering. A separate well appointed section welcomes women to pray, and a small library near the entrance offers copies of the Qur'an in several languages for students and residents alike. Friday sermons often address themes of family responsibility, business ethics, and care for the wider Muslim ummah. During Ramadan, volunteers distribute dates, Arabic coffee, and cold water before Maghrib, while the tarawih prayers gather a large crowd through the cool evening hours. On this page you will find accurate daily prayer times for Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha at the Taybah mosque, provided freely to every worshipper resident in al Rabiyah or visiting the Kuwaiti capital.
