کے بارے میں

Rising within the grounds of the Sacred Defence Cultural Centre and Museum in Sari, Masjid Fatimah al Zahra honours the beloved daughter of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). Sari is the capital of Mazandaran province, a fertile green land along the southern shore of the Caspian Sea, hemmed in by the forested ridges of the Alborz. Medieval travellers such as Ibn Rustah and al Muqaddasi praised its rice paddies, citrus orchards, and silk looms, and the city later became one of the principal seats of the Bavandid and Marashi dynasties who patronised religious scholarship in Tabaristan for many centuries. The mosque carries the name of Fatimah al Zahra (may God be pleased with her), a woman whose character the Prophet described as the leader of the women of paradise. Her patience through hardship, her devotion in night prayer, and her tender love for her father and her children Hasan and Husayn (may God be pleased with them) have long been celebrated in Persian poetry and in the quiet recitations that fill Iranian mosques at dawn. Linking the masjid with a cultural centre and museum dedicated to those who gave their lives for the country roots that memory in the gratitude of a whole community. Local architecture blends the green tiled traditions of northern Iran with the understated brickwork common to recent decades. Sloped roofs designed to shed heavy Caspian rainfall, a slender minaret, arched verandas, and tiled ablution courtyards surround the prayer hall. Inside, calligraphic panels quoting the Qur'an hang above a pale mihrab, and the carpets are cleaned meticulously by volunteer caretakers who treat the masjid as their second home. Daily prayer times for Masjid Fatimah al Zahra in Sari, together with the exact address, map, and community notes, are provided on this page to help local worshippers, visiting schoolchildren, veterans touring the museum, and travellers arriving from Tehran or Gorgan plan their visit to the site with ease. Sari is famed for its old clock tower, the historic tomb of Sayyid Zayn al Abidin, and the misty forests of Hyrcania that UNESCO has recognised for their unique biodiversity. After Isha many worshippers stroll through the garden at the cultural centre, pausing beside displays that narrate chapters of modern Iranian history with quiet dignity.
