کے بارے میں

Serving Section 24 of Shah Alam, the capital of Selangor state, this Masjid Al Ehsan represents the community's newer place of worship, as indicated by the Malay word Baru meaning new appended to its name. Al Ehsan itself is a blessed Arabic concept describing excellence in worship, the state in which a believer serves God as if seeing Him directly, knowing that even if unseen, God nevertheless sees the servant. Shah Alam grew as a planned city beginning in the late twentieth century, designed to become the administrative centre of Selangor after Kuala Lumpur was separated into its own federal territory. The city's neighbourhoods are organised into numbered sections, each with its own residential and commercial infrastructure and each built around communal facilities including mosques, schools, markets, and parks. Malaysian mosque architecture blends traditional Malay timber craftsmanship, Minangkabau inspired pitched roofs, Mughal influences inherited through Islamic Malay world exchanges, and contemporary concrete and glass construction suited to the tropical climate. This Masjid Al Ehsan follows the modern idiom, with broad verandas shading worshippers from tropical sun and rain, high ceilings promoting air circulation, and bright prayer halls decorated with Qur'anic inscriptions. The mihrab faces northwest toward Makkah across the Indian Ocean, and a dignified wooden minbar anchors the weekly khutbah. Five daily prayers draw residents from Section 24 homes and nearby workplaces, and Jumu'ah fills the hall to capacity. Sermons in Malay address Qur'anic themes, hadith guidance, and practical matters of family life, honest work, and service to the wider community. Ramadan brings elaborate communal iftar gatherings with Malaysian dishes including nasi lemak, rendang, kuih muih, and sweet bubur lambuk. Taraweeh prayers follow the evening meal, with large numbers attending. The imam often completes the Qur'an across the blessed month. Qur'anic memorisation classes run year round. Women worship in dedicated sections with their own entries. Eid prayers fill the grounds. Nearby attractions include the magnificent Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque known as the Blue Mosque, the Shah Alam Lake Gardens, and the wider Klang Valley metropolitan region. Sections of Shah Alam continue to grow as new housing estates develop around their communal institutions, and this mosque anchors the spiritual life of families moving into this carefully planned Malaysian administrative capital city.
