کے بارے میں

Operating as a centre for Islamic outreach and religious instruction, Pusat Dakwah Tarbiah al Ehsan Seksyen 24 anchors a residential section of Shah Alam, the planned capital of Selangor state in Malaysia. The terms dakwah and tarbiah express complementary dimensions of Islamic work, dakwah being the invitation to the faith and its core practices, while tarbiah denotes the careful nurturing and education of believers toward spiritual maturity, and the centre's dedication reflects this dual mission. Al Ehsan, meaning excellence or beautiful action, draws its inspiration from the famous hadith of Jibreel in which the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, defined excellence as worshipping God as if you see Him, knowing that though you do not see Him, He sees you. Shah Alam itself is a remarkable modern creation, a fully planned city laid out in the 1960s to serve as Selangor's new capital after Kuala Lumpur became a federal territory, its skyline dominated by the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Mosque, popularly known as the Blue Mosque, whose turquoise dome is among the largest religious structures in Southeast Asia. Seksyen 24, one of the city's planned neighbourhoods, hosts residential streets, schools, small businesses, and the Pusat Dakwah al Ehsan at its devotional heart. Architecturally the centre blends functional Malaysian urbanism with Islamic decorative motifs, a prayer hall of comfortable proportions oriented toward Makkah, a mihrab decorated in simple jawi calligraphy, a mimbar of polished chengal wood, and peripheral spaces for classrooms, a library, and administrative offices. Daily prayers follow the national schedule while khutbahs on Friday come in Bahasa Malaysia, and Through Ramadan the centre functions as a nocturnal gathering for tarawih and iftars featuring Malaysian favourites such as nasi lemak, kuih lapis, bubur lambuk, and teh tarik. The dakwah programmes include regular halaqas, tafsir classes, youth camps, and outreach events. Visitors to Shah Alam exploring the Blue Mosque, the nearby botanical gardens, or the I City entertainment complex will find this centre a welcoming example of grassroots Malaysian Islamic community work. The centre endures as an important example of the many grassroots dakwah organisations that have shaped Malaysian Islamic life over recent decades, complementing the state's official religious institutions with community led initiatives that respond directly to the specific needs of neighbourhoods like Seksyen 24 across the growing nation.
