Dedicated to Imam Ali ibn Musa al Rida, peace be upon him, this Shazand congregation in the Markazi province of central Iran functions simultaneously as a mosque and as a cultural centre bearing the same blessed name. Nights of Qadr are observed with extended qiyam, Qur'anic reflection, and quiet supplication. Qur'anic memorisation classes meet through the year, and older students engage with Persian language commentary traditions that have shaped Iranian religious scholarship. Women participate fully in the cultural programmes.
