کے بارے میں

Masjid An-Najah in Ulu Tiram, Johor, takes its name from the Arabic An-Najah — "the success" or "the salvation." Related to the word falah that appears in the adhan, najah carries the specific sense of escape from harm, deliverance from danger, and ultimate triumph. A mosque named An-Najah expresses the hope that worshippers who pray within its walls will find through their devotion the success that matters most — the salvation of the hereafter — and the deliverance from the trials of this life and the punishment of the next. The mosque serves the Ulu Tiram community with the full range of Malaysian mosque services: daily prayers, Friday jumu'ah, weekend religious education, women's programming, tahfiz classes, ceramah, and seasonal programming. The building reflects the Malaysian mosque aesthetic, with a central dome, a minaret, a wide courtyard, a well-appointed prayer hall, and a separate women's section. The imam leads the daily prayers, delivers Friday khutbahs, and officiates at the significant life events of the community. The mosque committee handles the practical affairs and the community's religious and charitable activities. Children attend kelas mengaji in the afternoons, learning Arabic, Qur'an recitation, and Islamic basics from volunteer teachers. Women's programming includes weekly halaqat, monthly tahlil gatherings, and Ramadan iftar organisation. During Ramadan, the mosque is vibrant with taraweeh every night, communal iftar, a programme of tausiyah and tafsir sessions, and the particular spiritual focus of the last ten nights with their qiyam prayers and Laylat al-Qadr observances. Eid prayers draw the community's families, and the khutbah on those mornings often connects the joy of Eid to the theme of najah — the successful completion of Ramadan being a small foretaste of the ultimate najah promised to the righteous. The Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم said that the one saved from the Fire and admitted to Paradise is truly the successful one, and Masjid An-Najah quietly invites its community to aim at that definition of success with every prayer offered within its walls. In the final night of Ramadan, a special du'a session is held at Masjid An-Najah for the safe return of community members travelling for Eid, a small custom that captures the protective family feeling that this mosque's namesake invokes.
