کے بارے میں
Within the town of Komijan in the Markazi Province of central Iran, Masjid Jameh Komijan affiliated with the Kanun e Farhangi Jawad al A'imma cultural centre gathers worshippers in a region where small towns, almond orchards, and wheat fields extend across the plains between Arak and Qom. The name Jawad al A'imma, the Generous of the Imams, honours Imam Muhammad al Jawad, son of Imam Ali al Rida and noble descendant of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, through the blessed lineage of Imam Husayn ibn Ali, may God be pleased with them.
Imam Muhammad al Jawad, born in Medina in the year 195 after the hijra, rose to the station of his noble fathers at a young age, admired across the Muslim world for the depth of his knowledge despite his youth. He passed away in Baghdad in 220 and was buried beside his grandfather Imam Musa al Kazim in the Kadhimiya sanctuary, whose twin golden domes remain among the most beloved pilgrimage sites of the Muslim world. Naming a Komijan cultural centre after him inspires the town's youth to seek knowledge early and to carry noble character into every season of their lives.
Markazi Province, whose name means simply the Central, lies in the heart of Iran, a region shaped by generations of patient farmers whose wheat, apples, saffron, and almonds supply the wider country. Komijan itself is a small town surrounded by the dry rolling hills and fertile valleys that characterise the interior plateau, and its spiritual life centres on devotion to the noble household of the Prophet and their blessed teachings transmitted through the great imams of the Ahl al Bayt.
Architecturally, the masjid reflects the classical Iranian style of the central plateau. A turquoise tiled dome, a slender minaret inscribed with calligraphy in the Nasta'liq script, a courtyard with a central fountain shaded by pomegranate trees, and a carpeted prayer hall with a calligraphic mihrab welcome worshippers for the five daily prayers. The present page lists accurate prayer times for Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha at Masjid Jameh Komijan, along with the town address and practical notes for visitors arriving from Arak further south, from the blessed shrine of Fatima al Masuma in Qom just under an hour away, or from the highway linking the central plateau to Tehran. During Muharram the courtyard fills with black banners and heartfelt lamentations, and during the birthdays of the noble imams the dome is illuminated with strings of lights. The cultural centre hosts classes for young people in Qur'an, Nahj al Balagha, and Islamic ethics. Every traveller exploring central Iran is warmly invited to step inside, pray with the devoted Komijan congregation, and send abundant salawat upon the Prophet and every noble imam of the pure prophetic household whose illuminated lives remain a guide for every believing heart walking towards the promised gentle dawn.
